[AfricaRealities] UK’s Government policy of job market discrimination against black people and other people from Commonwealth countries.

UK's Government policy of job  market discrimination against black people and other people from Commonwealth countries.

The UK employment is improving, but it is still hard for people from outside UK and Europe Economics Area to get a job. Currently, most unemployed people  in the UK are from outside UK and EEC.

This is caused by UK discrimination in  the jobs market.   Most employers do not want to hire people from Commonwealth countries.
Most job applications forms  require you to state whether or not you are a UK or EEC national.

While the Government is campaigning nationally and at EU level to curb the immigration from EU countries to UK, the situation is that  the labour market  discriminates the job seekers from outside EU and this  has contributes to the increase of migrants  from EU. The Government know this situation, but they prefer  rhetoric to realities while  promoting labour market discrimination against people who have established in the UK for centuries, especially black people and other people from Commonwealth countries.

We call on the government to end discriminatory mistreatment in the job market by UK employers.
