Rwanda to decide musician's bail request Monday

The Rwandan justice will on Monday disclose the verdict over the bail
request by renowned singer Kizito Mihigo and three co-accused, all
prosecuted over conspiring to topple Paul Kamage's regime, the Rwandan
radio reported Friday.On Thursday, the four accused requested bail
ahead of the conclusion of the Prosecutor's investigation.

However, the prosecution requested the judge to reject the appeal
arguing that the accused could disappear to escape the justice.

Kizito Mihigo pleaded guilty to all the charges against him.

Basing its assumption on Kizito's many phones messages, the
Prosecution declared the singer involved in a plan aimed at
overthrowing Kagame.

The musician's lawyers said that messages of the client could in any
way be considered as a crime since they have never been translated
into acts.
