Re: [afrocarpus] Re: African leaders are failing to tackle the problem of migration that kills thousands of migrants in the Mediterranean

We are not being cheated by International Organization. No one can allow continue being cheated while he/she is aware of being cheated. International Organizations are not cheating on us, but they are telling the truth that we DEVELOPING.We are developing on our level of development, how do you wish them telling us the truth while even our governments don't talk the truth and reality of the situations? You may find a very noted democratic government fulling its own people on growth of academic standards while without considering kind of education they have delivered. You find countries are surrounded by a lot of fresh water sources, but its people are lacking drinking water even FIVE KILOMETERS FROM THE SOURCE. So should we blame Europeans on this?

So how do they lying on us, they are not cheating anyway, they just saying the truth on how we are. We are almost cheating ourselves.

International organisations are cheating African people by telling them that they are doing good progress because of  some increase in GDP statistics.  That increase has been taking place for the last 20 years without  making any changes  on the ground.  Fleeing poverty or living with it because you have no means to leave  should be the most indicators of that superficial progress.

African leaders spend much of their time talking about Africa as one country, just Africa. Repetitive meetings are organized around the continent to discuss Africa without tangible  changes in addressing African problems.

Now these  leaders  are unable to  solve the problems of migrants being killed in the Mediterranean. These migrants are mainly trying to escape poverty, inequality and human rights abuses. This isn't a European problem. This isn't a UN problem. It is not the Pope Francis's problem. It is an African Union problem. It is a problem of the whole Africa with its fragmented regional blocs.  These leaders can't even hold a single special meeting to discuss the problem of migration that is contributing to the loss of lives. These leaders are just focusing on keeping their power through corruption, fighting against the opposition, flying in private jets around the world, changing the constitutions, etc.
