Re: [afrocarpus] British politicians’ unfair hostility and discrimination against EU migrants.

[afrocarpus] Fwd: AU Commission chair election suspended

The political   limits of Mr. Paul Kagame:   At the AU Summit , nothing worked for Kagame. As the host of the AU summit, Kagame promised Museveni to do everything possible  to make   Uganda's Specioza Kazibwe being elected as AU   Chairperson. This lady was eliminated at the first round of the vote. This is a very big disappointment both for Kagame and Museveni. It is   a fragrant failure of Louise Mushikiwabo's international diplomacy.   None of the candidates can speak a single word in French while 2/3 of African's population are   French speakers. An effective chair of AU must speak   fluently both French and English and this should be added in the rules of   selecting the AU chair and Commissioners ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Africa Great Lakes Democracy Network < agldemocracy@gmail.com > Date: 18 July 2016 at 13:15 Subject: AU Commission chair election suspended To: afrocar...

And Theresa May is about to try and solve arguably the most dangerous puzzle in international relations. Surely she just needs to TAKE BACK CONTROL? Right, which most people think means ending freedom of movement. But there’s a couple of reasons that doing that would be economically catastrophic. Firstly, EU migrants bring in billions of pounds a year in taxes. Curtailing their numbers in the UK would have a profound effect on our public finances. Secondly, freedom of movement is a requirement of the single market. And leav...
