Racism in the UK has forced the Shadow business secretary Chuka Umunna MP to withdraw from the Labour party leadership contest just days after throwing his hat into the ring. It is also believed that racism was part of the reasons why Ed Miliband was defeated in the May 2015 General elections. Opinions polls and the media were consistently claiming that the public prefers David Cameron ( full and original white) to Ed Miliband ( with migrant roots). What is happening in France where the Prime Minister and the Mayor of Paris are from migrant roots may not happen in the UK. What happened in the US where Obama was elected as the President of America will never happen in the UK.
