Uganda High Commission to Kigali
PRESS RELASE
Following media reports of the death of Col. Patrick Karegeya in South
Africa and speculation regarding his internament, the Government of
the Republic of Uganda wishes to clarify that the deceased was a
citizen of the Republic of Rwanda and resident in South Africa at the
time of his death. Therefore burial arrangements should be made in one
of those countries.
The Government of Uganda has communicated this position to the family
of the Late Karegeya.

Maxwell Lawerence Muyonjo, I dont know law (international or
municipal). I am a witch doctor by profession. I was once statless for
three months. And needless to say, my experience as a stateless person
was traumatising... But my understanding is that being stateless
doesnt affect one's citizenship and nationality.

In one of Uganda's leading daily, late Patrick has been written about
as, NRA chief spy. The liberties we are enjoying in Uganda was
mothered by statesman like Karyegyeya. We should play a neutral role
and give our freedom fighter a better send off. Then we would have
