Gunmen kill 17 in attacks on police stations, barracks in Uganda

KAMPALA - Gunmen killed 17 people when they attacked three police
stations and a military barracks in western Uganda, the military said
on Sunday.
Paddy Ankunda, spokesman for the Uganda People's Defense forces, said
they killed 41 of the attackers and captured another 12 during the
raids on Saturday evening.
