Rwanda: The Dutch Ambassador made a courtesy visit to Madame Victoire Ingabire Umuhoza

Kigali, November 21, 2013
On Thursday, around 1pm, the Dutch Ambassador to Rwanda, Her Excellency Leoni CUELENAERE, paid a courtesy visit to Madame Victoire Ingabire Umuhoza, the Chairperson of FDU-Inkingi, imprisoned at the infamous Kigali maximum security prison since October 2010.
During their talks, the two parties discussed issues relating to the democratization process in Rwanda and the situation in the Great Lakes region of Africa.
Madame Victoire Ingabire Umuhoza is awaiting on December 13, 2013 the appeal verdict in her trial to the Supreme Court of Kigali. A trial, regardless of the verdict outcome, will remain the longest and the most publicized under the RPF's regime.
